The luxury variant among the types of cotton. Only a few percent of the world’s cotton is of this quality and even fewer are grown in such a sustainable way. - Engineered for the circular economy
The entire garment consists of the highest quality and organic materials (fabric, label, sewing thread) = easily recyclable and biodegradable at the end of life.
- Transport routes reduced to a minimum as the value chain is completely European ( here )
- 40% water savings in cultivation compared to conventional cotton
- Cotton from Greek small farmers, no genetically modified seeds
- Approx. 1/3 of the environmental impact compared to a standard sweatshirt made of natural fibers (measured on environmental pollution points using our Mangola T-shirt as an example)
- Bluesign certified fabric manufacturing
Our Greek yarn manufacturer has developed an innovative and socially responsible seed-to-garment system that supports farmers and businesses at the foot of Mount Olympus.
Supreme Green Cotton uses a tailor-made, satellite-supported drip irrigation system in the fields, which can save up to 40% water – one of the most pressing problems in cotton cultivation. Thanks to a specially developed app that is connected to selected cotton fields via satellite and weather stations, farmers can monitor the fields in real time. The Internet of Things (IoT) system alerts them so they can take action to ensure plants are healthy and producing higher yields in a sustainable way.
