The Muntagnard Cape Coat is probably the finest combination of premium quality and sustainability and the ideal companion in the transitional period. The cut combines the advantages of a classic wool jacket with the airiness and functionality of a cape. The specially developed fabric made from 100% recycled, finest merino wool gives the wool jacket an extremely elegant feel and look, and the details made from Swiss deerskin provide an additional touch of authenticity and elegance.
Made in Switzerland – handmade in a small factory in Rothenthurm (Canton Schwyz).

Every single jacket is handmade by traditional costume experts in Rothenthurm, Canton Schwyz. More quality, tradition and authenticity is hardly possible. - Complete European value chain
Raw materials made from recycled merino wool from Italy, deerskin from Switzerland and beech wood from Europe. - Engineered for the circular economy
Entire garment consists of only 4 completely organic and biodegradable materials (wool, deerskin, nuts and wood fibers).
- Wool exclusively from the recycling of production residues (recycling of wool and weaving of the fabric in northern Italy)
- Leather from wild Swiss red deer (vegetable and produced in Switzerland without dangerous chemicals) – Cervo Volante
- Wood-based fibers from European and sustainably managed beech wood (of organic origin and biodegradable)
- Buttons made from inedible nuts (unpainted and laser-engraved)
- Fabrics produced according to GOTS and/or bluesign criteria
- Complete renunciation of cotton and synthetics (plastic)
- Minimal transport distances as complete production within a radius of 450 km
Women’s jacket with an airy fit. The jacket combines the freedom of movement of a cape with the functionality of a classic jacket with closed sleeves.
